Job summary

Saber Health Group in Mount Pleasant, PA is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide to administer medications to residents under the direction of a licensed nurse, following nursing standards and facility policies for safe, dignified care.

The role requires state registry standing, completion of QMA competency if required, and HS or GED. Overnight shifts and growth opportunities are available in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• State registry in good standing as a medication aide.
• Completed QMA competency evaluation if required by state.
• High school diploma or equivalent or currently enrolled in HS (GED guidance provided).
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending Physician under supervision of a licensed nurse.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending Physician, under the direction of a licensed nurse within the scope of practice for Medication Aides. The administration of medication shall be in accordance with established nursing standards, the community policies, procedures, and practices, and the requirements of the state in which you operate.

Education/Qualifications:

• Be listed in good standing on the registry as a medication aide in the state in which you work.
• Passed the QMA competency evaluation program consisting of a written test, if your state requires.
• Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • We can provide guidance and resources to help you earn your GED.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.

Shift and Wage:

• Full-Time Opportunity Available
• Shifts Needed: 10pm-6:30am
