Job summary

The Landings of Oak Island is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide for the night shift to safely administer medications, monitor residents, and support the nursing team with compassionate care.

Requirements: high school diploma or GED, state-approved Medication Aide training, active Medication Aide certification; CPR/First Aid preferred; 1 year of healthcare/senior living experience. We offer competitive pay, health insurance, PTO, on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a state-approved Medication Aide training program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration: prepare, administer, and document medications per orders.
• Health monitoring: observe changes in residents' health and vital signs.
• Resident engagement: build positive relationships and encourage wellness activities.
• Safety & compliance: follow infection control and maintain organized records.
