Job summary

Favorite Healthcare Staffing Inc. is working with a Lawrence, KS hospital to recruit a Medical Technologist / Lab Scientist.

This permanent/direct-hire role offers full-time night shifts with 10- or 12-hour blocks and a $5,000 sign-on bonus based on licensure and experience. Responsibilities include performing tests across chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, serology, blood banking and limited microbiology/molecular areas, ensuring accuracy and quality control, and maintaining

Qualifications

• ASCP MT/MLS certification is required.
• Blood bank experience preferred.
• New grads are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates technical expertise for accurate and reliable testing across chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, serology, blood banking and limited microbiology/molecular areas.
• Performs patient, quality control, proficiency, and quality assurance testing with timely documentation.
• Updates knowledge on policies, specimen collection, test procedures, and instrumentation.
• Handles other duties as assigned.
