Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related field.
• Passing score on the Clinical Laboratory Technology Proficiency exam approved by HHS (HEW).
• 0–2 years of acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and high complexity tests with accurate reporting.
• Follow quality control procedures and analyze data for out-of-range results.
• Conduct instrument checks and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot instrument malfunctions and notify appropriate personnel.
• Comply with safety regulations and use PPE as required.
• Communicate test results and issues to staff and supervisors.
• Assist with proficiency testing and regulatory data collection.
• Perform phlebotomy duties as needed.
