Responsibilities

• Processes and maintains clerical information on the unit.
• Responds to and screens telephone messages regarding patient information and unit operations.
• Assists with coordination of patient flow, unit rounding, and visitor security.
• Maintains patient electronic medical records with accuracy and completeness.
• Assists with admissions, discharges, and transfers; coordinates with transportation when needed.
