Job summary

McLaren Health Care's Medical Surgical unit seeks an experienced RN for overnight coverage. You will deliver nursing care within unit scope, following hospital policies and standards, and collaborate with the care team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

The role requires patient assessment, care planning, and patient teaching, with supervision of ancillary staff as needed. Night shifts, full-time position, with comprehensive benefits and schedule details as provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current Michigan RN license.
• ACLS within six months for certain units, BLS required.
• PALS/NRP as applicable to department needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, document response to plan of care and take corrective action.
• Plan and implement patient care and provide patient teaching.
• Oversee ancillary personnel for technical tasks.
