Job summary

Saline Memorial Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical-Surgical unit. This full-time night position (7:00PM - 7:00AM) involves direct patient care, assessments, and collaboration with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a 60-bed unit.

Applicants should hold an active RN license, an Associate's degree in nursing, and BLS; ACLS/PALS and BSN are preferred. Experience of one year is favored.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license (or compact state).
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• BLS required.
• ACLS and PALS (NRP, Handle with Care) preferred within one year of hire.
• Experience: One-year prior experience preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties as assigned and requested.
• Completes focused patient assessments and reassessments based on patient condition and treatments.
• Uses six rights of medication administration to minimize errors.
• Assists physicians with procedures and provides services requiring technical skills.
• Performs treatments within licensure scope and ensures patient safety.
