Job summary

Baptist Health in Arkansas is seeking a registered nurse for Med Surg on the night shift (1830-0700). The RN will provide safe and compassionate patient care, using the nursing process and Baptist Health training to achieve excellent outcomes. A state license to practice in Arkansas is required, with BSN preferred and CPR certification.

Training for ACLS/PALS/NALS is provided where needed. New RN graduates or RNs in good standing are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse licensed to practice in Arkansas.
• BSN preferred.
• New RN graduate eligible for licensure and welcome to apply.
• CPR is required; ACLS/PALS/NALS training may be required in some areas - training is provided.
• Able to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and follow Clinical Nurse Advancement Program guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, therapeutic, and compassionate patient care using the nursing process.
• Demonstrate clinical competence and critical thinking in daily duties.
• Know and follow department policies, processes, and organizational requirements.
• Work in a unified workflow with the rest of the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain high-quality patient experience in Med Surg during night shifts.
