Job summary

Good Shepherd Health Care is seeking a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse for night shift in an on-site, full-time role in Oregon. The position involves direct nursing care for adult surgical patients, pre- and post-operative assessments, medication administration, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• BSN, MSN preferred.
• Current RN license in the State of Oregon; BLS, ACLS and PALS.
• CMSRN preferred.
• Previous Medical-Surgical nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients before and after surgical procedures.
• Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and initiate the Plan of Care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and deliver compassionate care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
