Job summary

Good Shepherd Health Care in Oregon seeks an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse for night shift. The role provides direct and individualized nursing care to adult ICU patients, with a 36-hour weekly schedule on a rotating night shift. A sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 is offered, along with medical, dental and vision benefits paid by the employer.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active Oregon RN license with BLS/ACLS/PALS. BSN/MSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN license in the State of Oregon; BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• BSN/MSN preferred.
• No prior experience required; MS/BSN preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care for adult ICU patients.
• Assess patient conditions and respond quickly to changes.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Initiate Plan of Care on admission and document care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate empathy.
