Job summary

Avera Pipestone is seeking qualified Medical Laboratory Technicians/Medical Laboratory Scientists for the Pipestone, MN facility. The role supports waived, moderate and high complexity testing, with duties under the Lab Manager. Night shift Fri–Sun 18:00–06:30, potential sign-on up to $10,000.

Requires associate or bachelor degree in clinical science or MLT, certifications preferred, and Driver’s license. Benefits include healthcare, HSA, PTO and pension.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s degree in MLT or lab science or a Bachelor’s in clinical science.
• MLT-ASCP or NCA preferred; BLS within 1 week of hire; DOT/ BAT certs preferred or obtainable within 1 year.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform waived, moderate and high complexity lab tests.
• Ensure quality control, quality assurance, instrument maintenance and corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation and participate in continuing education and result correlation.
