Sioux Center Health in Pipestone, MN is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician/Medical Laboratory Scientist for the night shift. The role involves performing waived to high complexity tests under the Lab Manager, handling quality control, instrument maintenance, and continuing education.

Associate's or Bachelor’s degree required, with ASCP/NCA certification preferred. BLS within 1 week, BAT and DOT certification within a year, and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in MLT or laboratory science from an accredited two-year college or technical school required or Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in clinical science.
• MLT-ASCP board certified or NCA certified preferred.
• BLS certified or must be obtained within 1 week of hire.
• DOT/BAT certification required or obtainable within one year from hire.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsabilités

• Perform waived, moderate and high complexity laboratory tests and related duties as directed.
• Quality control, quality assurance, and instrument maintenance.
• Test result correlation and clinical laboratory-related continuing education.
