HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan, WI seeks a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join the lab team. The role performs tests on patient samples to detect health conditions in a busy hospital setting, with a 40-hour PM shift.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, chemistry and mathematics, plus NAACLS MLS/MT program or ASCP certification; eligibility for certification is required within 180 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, chemistry and mathematics.
• NAACLS-accredited MLS/MT program or ASCP certification with Bachelor's degree.
• Eligibility for certification by ASCP, NCA, AMT, HEW or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of tests on patient samples to detect health conditions.
• Work full-time, 40 hours per week, PM shift in Lab.
• Maintain quality control and document results in the lab.
