Job summary

Norton Healthcare is seeking a Medical Lab Scientist or Medical Lab Technician for PRN nights, as needed, to independently perform, interpret and correlate clinical lab tests to support physician diagnosis and treatment. You will work according to policies and procedures and provide problem-solving expertise in a busy lab environment.

The role requires a diploma or bachelor's degree with MLS/MB/SM/M credentials for Scientist track or a lab tech credential with MLT license within 9 months.

Qualifications

• Diploma required for Medical Laboratory Technician.
• Bachelor's degree required for Medical Laboratory Scientist.
• MLT license within 9 months of hire for technician track; MLS/ MB/ SM/ M technologist within 9 months for scientist track.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform, interpret and correlate clinical laboratory tests to support physician diagnosis and treatment.
• Perform testing according to policies and procedures and provide troubleshooting and problem-solving expertise.
