Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist I for a night-shift position at 90 Blossom Street in Boston. The role starts at $33/hour, with additional differentials and incentives where applicable.

The 3x8 weekend schedule runs Fri–Sun, 11 PM–7:30 AM, with onsite work and a focus on specimen processing and test reporting under CLIA guidelines. Candidates must be ASCP certified or eligible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory sciences or medical technology or laboratory sciences.
• ASCP certification preferred or eligible.
• 1–2 years of lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Process specimens and perform tests per CLIA guidelines and required procedures.
• Report waived and non-waived test results accurately.
• Maintain records of patient test results and quality control activities.
• Identify problems affecting test performance and notify supervisors as needed.
• Adhere to quality control policies and instrument calibrations.
