Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Houston, TX is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist I for a Sunday-Thursday shift from 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM. The role offers growth in a Fortune 500 diagnostic services leader with substantial training and benefits.

Pay starts at $29.50+ per hour with potential shift differential of 10% on some second-shift hours and 15% on some third-shift hours, along with annual bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualificações

• B.S. in Medical Technology preferred; or BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology, or Associates in Laboratory Science or Medical Technology, or previously qualified as a Technologist under 42 CFR 493.
• 1 year clinical experience (high complexity testing) preferred.
• MLS, Medical Laboratory Scientist, Med Tech, CLS or related credential(s)

Responsabilidades

• Follow the laboratory's procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test results.
• Maintain records that demonstrate proficiency testing samples are tested like patient specimens.
• Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures.
• Review and release test results.
• Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
• Follow established policies whenever test systems are outside expected performance.
• Identify problems that may affect test performance or reporting and notify supervisor.
