Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist for the Night Shift in Greensboro, NC. The position runs Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM, with pay starting at $24.03 per hour and potential shift differentials.

Perform moderate to high complexity testing, maintain records, and ensure accurate reporting while adhering to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA guidelines. BS in Medical Technology preferred; MLS/CLS credentials or eligibility, and 1 year+ of clinical experience in high

Qualifications

• BS in Medical Technology preferred; or BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology, or AS degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
• MLS/CLS credentials preferred or eligibility.
• 1 year clinical experience with high complexity testing preferred.
• Familiarity with CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling and processing.
• Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures.
• Review and release test results.
• Maintain records of proficiency testing samples.
• Identify and report test performance issues promptly.
• Follow safety guidelines and lab policies.
