Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in MLS from a NAACLS accredited MLS program or a related science degree.
• National ASCP/AMT/AMSL or equivalent certification required upon hire.
• At least 1 year experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in a hospital/clinical lab.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and timely report high complexity lab test results with minimal supervision.
• Perform pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical duties including specimen evaluation and data analysis.
• Maintain and troubleshoot instruments and assist with problem resolution.
• Collaborate with acute-care and outpatient caregivers and Laboratory Services staff.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science from a NAACLS accredited MLS program

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Sciences

National ASCP/AMSC or equivalent certification upon hire
