Job summary

Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians, Inc. seeks a Medical Laboratory Technician (MT/MLT) for night shift in Westerville, Ohio. The ideal candidate will perform waived to highly complex testing, including hematology, microbiology, molecular, chemistry and urinalysis, using manual kits and automated systems.

Strong QA, calibration, and independent work ethic are required. Certification as MT/MLT (ASCP or equivalent) and an A.A.S.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of current medical terminology related to laboratory medicine.
• Knowledge of instrumentation and testing for quality control, calibration and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform waived, moderate and highly complex laboratory testing.
• Handle hematology, microbiology, molecular, chemistry, coagulation and urinalysis procedures.
• Operate manual kits and automated analyzers; prepare slides and specimens.
• Maintain calibration, quality control and routine instrument maintenance.
• Ensure accurate results prior to reporting.
