Job summary

Jackson County Memorial Hospital Authority in Altus, OK seeks a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for night shift 7:00 pm - 7:00 am. Under the supervision of Lab Supervisor, you perform lab procedures accurately and promptly according to hospital policies.

You will work across chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation and blood bank; handle instrument checks, maintain records, and communicate findings to clinicians; one year experience preferred and ASCP-MLT registry optional.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Technology or equivalent training.
• MLT registry eligible with ASCP or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation and blood bank testing.
• Operate and maintain lab instruments; perform required procedures with independent judgement.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate abnormal findings to clinicians.
