Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Required).
• ASCP – American Society for Clinical Pathology.
• MLT – Medical Laboratory Technologist Certification – ASCP.
• AMT Certification is considered equivalent to ASCP.
• Experience in an automated clinical laboratory.

Responsibilities

• 55% Complex analysis of body fluids and data to ensure accurate results.
• 15% Communicating with clinicians and staff by phone and in person.
• 20% Performing quality control, maintenance, and documenting QC data.
• 5% Continuing education and competency development.
• 5% Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
