Qualifications

Associate degree in lab science or Bachelor’s degree in chemical/biological science required or equivalent training.
CLIA 42 CFR 493.1489/1491 compliance training or demonstrated equivalent.
Foreign credential evaluation may be required for non-US education.

Responsibilities

Perform waived and non-waived tests as defined by CLIA ’88 with supervision.
Assist with department compliance with accrediting/regulatory requirements (CLIA ’88, JCAHO, CAP, OSHA).
Collect, receipt, and process biological specimens into the laboratory where applicable.
Maintain accurate records and ensure quality control and safety standards.
