Qualifications

• Current and valid state license if required by the state.
• ASCP certification, or equivalent, preferred.
• Associate’s degree in chemical, physical, biological science, or completion of coursework in a program for MLT.
• 1 year of hospital laboratory work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform waived, highly and moderately complex testing per CLIA guidelines.
• Adhere to procedures for collection, processing, analysis, and reporting of patient test results.
• Follow QC policies and document corrective actions for deviations.
• Perform and document instrument maintenance and calibration as required.
• Review accuracy of patient results prior to reporting and ensure quality control.
