Qualifications

• Equivalent laboratory training meeting CLIA regulations 42CFR493.1489 or 1491.
• Demonstrated competency in phlebotomy where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform waived and non-waived tests accurately and timely per policy and performance standards.
• Ensure validity of abnormal results and document deviations from procedures.
• Assist with inventory management and efficient use of reagents and supplies.
• Train and guide laboratory personnel; support supervisor in absence.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external customers; participate in staff meetings.
• Process and prepare patient samples, including collection and general processing.
