Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a laboratory science or Bachelor’s degree in chemical/biological science (transcripts may be reviewed).
• Equivalent laboratory training per CLIA 42CFR493.1489/1491 criteria or equivalent experience.
• Credential evaluation required for foreign-educated candidates (IERF or similar).
• Demonstrated competency in phlebotomy where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform waived and non‑waived tests per CLIA ’88 in accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure validity and documentation of abnormal results; participate in QC and problem resolution.
• Assist with inventory and supply optimization; support cost efficiency and productivity.
• Train laboratory staff and provide guidance in supervisor’s absence; complete required trainings.
• Communicate effectively with internal/external customers and support teamwork.
