Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Lake Norman Medical/Surgical unit. The role requires BLS and ACLS within 6 months, an accredited nursing program graduate, and an active RN license in the practicing state.

You will participate in quality initiatives, apply evidence-based care, and collaborate with the care team in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Night shifts, 36 hours per week, with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team.
