Job summary

UNC Health Care's Lenoir Health in Kinston, NC seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the medical/surgical unit. The RN uses the nursing process to plan, provide and evaluate patient care, analyzes patient needs, and maintains medical records as part of a collaborative team.

Qualified applicants will have a nursing degree, NC RN licensure, and BLS; ACLS within one year is encouraged. Night shift, full-time onsite with 36 hours per week. Strong patient focus and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina; BLS, ACLS within one year.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a key member of the health care team using the nursing process to plan, provide and evaluate patient care.
• Analyze patient health problems and needs; develop and implement nursing care plans; maintain medical records.
• Provide cost-efficient care with excellent clinical outcomes and coordinate with the multidiscipline team.
