Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) with rotating weekends. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborate with physicians and the care team, and advocate for patients and families while adhering to nursing standards.

The role emphasizes assessment, bedside procedures, medication administration, and patient education to ensure optimal outcomes and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing.
• TX RN license or compact license required.
• Associate's Degree acceptable to start; Bachelor's required within 24 months of hire.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and during shifts; report changes promptly.
• Administer prescribed meds, monitor responses, and document care.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, plans, medications and follow-up.
