Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health’s Pflugerville facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night Shift (7pm–7am) on a full-time, 36-hour weekly schedule. The unit supports Medical Surgical, Orthopedics, Intermediate Care, and Critical Care, with staffing ratios and a growing 25-bed unit undergoing expansion.

The role requires a Texas RN license, BLS, and a minimum of 2 years in Med/Surg or IMC; Magnet recognition highlights nursing excellence and teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• RN with eligibility to practice under the Texas Nursing Practice Act and current license.
• At least 2 years of Med/Surg or IMC experience.
• Magnet-recognized facility indicates focus on nursing excellence (candidate should align with high standards).

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
• Create, implement, and evaluate care plans; adjust plans to reach outcomes.
• Educate patients and families; document learning needs; empower them with knowledge.
