Job summary

FORVIA HELLA is seeking a Mechatronics Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain automated systems across the plant on the C shift (11pm–7am). You will interpret diagrams, perform diagnostics, and coordinate with engineering to improve equipment performance.

Qualifications include strong troubleshooting, ability to read schematics, basic electrical knowledge, and a willingness to learn new technologies.

Qualifications

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
Basic mechanical aptitude and experience with machinery and automation.
Basic electrical knowledge of sensors, motors, relays, and switches.
Willingness to learn new technologies, processes, and equipment.

Responsibilities

Install and configure mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment per specifications.
Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in mechatronic systems.
Perform routine maintenance and preventative measures to ensure optimal functioning.
Interpret diagrams, schematics, and drafts to understand operation.
Develop optimized solutions for irregularities and malfunctions.
Collaborate with engineering on automation design and improvements.
Adhere to safety protocols and document work activities.
Provide training and support to colleagues when required.
