Job summary

FORVIA HELLA is seeking a Mechatronics Technician for the night shift (C shift, 11pm–7am). You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a manufacturing setting.

Work with engineers to advance automation and ensure safety and compliance, while documenting all activities for quality control. Ideal candidates bring troubleshooting skills, the ability to read wiring diagrams and drawings, and basic electrical knowledge.

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting and problem-solving in manufacturing or similar environments.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Basic electrical knowledge and hands-on tooling experience.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment per specs.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in mechatronic systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative measures.
• Interpret diagrams to understand operation of equipment.
• Develop optimized solutions for irregularities in systems.
• Collaborate with engineering on automation projects.
• Follow safety protocols and document activities for compliance.
• Provide training and technical support to colleagues.
