Job summary

ARMOR-IIMAK North America is seeking an Automation Technician to manage plant equipment and automation systems in our Hebron Estates facility. The role involves working with VFDs, PLCs, and related automation hardware during a 11pm–7:30am shift, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities include repairing and installing systems, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical components, and documenting work orders. Flexibility to travel to other sites is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in a maintenance capacity in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Degree in applicable field preferred.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics; CAD experience is a plus.
• Flexibility to work an altered schedule as needed to accommodate business needs.
• Team player and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to travel to other sites as needed for support or training.

Responsibilities

• Repair and install systems and components on industrial machinery following codes, manuals, diagrams and specifications using hand and power tools.
• Complete mechanical equipment repairs and troubleshooting including bearings, pneumatic systems, and piping.
• Document and complete maintenance work orders with labor hours and parts used.
• Pursue continuous improvement of PM programs to maximize uptime and productivity.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with policies and regulations.
