Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; vocational training desirable.
• Must have valid Driver's license; 1+ year in vehicle maintenance or related field.
• Personal basic tool set; basic understanding of diesel/gasoline engines.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and plant equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes and filter replacements.
• Inspect and replace belts, hoses, batteries, and lights.
• Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues with basic tools.
• Document work and parts used in logs or fleet systems.
• Support senior mechanics with complex repairs and diagnostics.
• Respond to roadside service calls when required.
