Job summary

Performance Food Group seeks a night-shift sanitation worker for meat packaging areas. You will perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and workstations to USDA standards, ensuring a clean, safe production flow. The role requires attention to detail and teamwork in a fast-paced facility.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, safe handling of waste, and assisting Packers with box-cases as needed. High School Diploma or equivalent and 6–12 months sanitation experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6–12 months experience in sanitation within a warehouse or production environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete sanitation and pre-operational cleaning of meat packaging areas and machines per USDA standards.
• Review work schedule and ensure equipment safety and readiness for operations.
• Clean, sanitize, and reassemble machinery; manage waste and materials per procedure.
• Maintain USDA compliance and assist with daily team tasks as required.
• Perform other related duties to support the Meat Pack area.
