Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a sanitation technician for the night shift at a St. Louis meat processing facility. You will clean and sanitize packaging areas and equipment to USDA standards, ensuring efficient product flow and quality control throughout the shift.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 6–12 months of sanitation experience in a warehouse or production setting; OSHA forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6–12 months experience in sanitation within warehouse or production environment.
• Preferred: 1–2 years experience in sanitation within warehouse/production; OSHA forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete cleaning and sanitization of meat packaging and processing areas per USDA standards.
• Maintain efficient flow of product through the production process.
• Review work schedule and prepare supplies for operations.
• Prepare machinery for cleaning, apply sanitizers, and rinse with high-pressure hoses.
• Shut down and secure equipment, complete shift paperwork and assist team as needed.
