Job summary

Fortune Fish & Gourmet in Windsor, WI is seeking a Meat Packaging Leader to drive safety, quality, productivity, and team engagement within our packaging operations. The role reports to the Meat Production Supervisor and leads by example on safety and efficiency.

This hands-on position requires mentoring staff, facilitating huddles, and improving KPI performance while adhering to HACCP and safety standards. Night shift, Sunday-Thursday, 10:00pm-6:30am, with potential schedule adjustments.

Qualifications

1+ year of foodservice production experience.
Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
Ability to calculate basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Basic understanding and ability to use MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Lead by example to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and engagement in packaging operations.
Use Leader Standard Work (LSW) for daily, weekly, monthly tasks.
Mentor production staff and coach on performance, safety, and procedural adherence.
Attend and lead production room huddles to communicate KPI expectations and safety topics.
Collaborate with other leaders to address pain points and drive continuous improvement.
Participate in inventory and schedule communications as needed.
