Job summary

Fortune Fish & Gourmet is seeking a Meat Packager to join our Windsor, WI production team. You will handle high-volume meat packaging and trimming with a focus on yield, quality, and safety on the production floor.

The role includes work in the packaging department and meat trimming table, with a Monday-Thursday 7am-4:00pm schedule; Friday shifts start at 7am and end around 12:00pm, with flexibility as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Completing daily and monthly production needs through hands on manufacturing of stock, JIT and special-order needs, and packaging.
• Employee will understand knowledge of production yield, quality standards, and adherence to department policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates and models behavior consistent with the department’s core values and assists with maintaining an environment most conducive to success for the production team and beyond.
• Team member will consistently perform all duties related to department and product handling tasks in a way that models the production team policies, procedures, a standards and will be a relied upon contributor to a positive environment where beneficial changes to departmental policy are embraced.
• Assist with other special assignments as assigned.
• Perform all the above duties in a timely, courteous manner with Respect for all Company Personnel and Property and report any concerns immediately.
