Job summary

Bristol Health is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for the Families are First (FAF) Birthing Center at our Bristol, CT location. The role covers Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum care with 24/7 anesthesia on site and pediatric hospitalist support.

Ideal candidates have an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), CT RN license, and CPR/BLS certification. We value teamwork, effective communication, and patient-centered care. 3rd shift nights, part-time position.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience (Preferred) in a Maternity / Labor & Delivery Setting.
• NRP preferred at time of hire; Must obtain within 6 months of hire.
• American Heart Association CPR BLS certification required at time of recertification.
• Must have an Active CT Registered Nurse license.
• Must have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing and willing to obtain BSN. BSN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients during Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum Care.
• Coordinate with anesthesia and Pediatric Hospitalist on-site care.
• Provide patient-centered nursing care autonomously and per professional standards.
• Float or be reassigned to other departments as needed to meet patient needs.
