Job summary

MaineGeneral Health in Augusta is looking for an experienced Maternity & Pediatrics Registered Nurse (RN) for a 36-hour per week role at the Alfond Center for Health. The RN will work night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with responsibilities including patient care planning and collaboration across disciplines.

This role requires an active Maine RN license and at least 1 year of nursing experience in Med/Surg, Mother/Baby, Labor & Delivery, or Level II.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of previous Med/Surg, Mother/Baby, Level II or Labor & Delivery RN experience is required.
• Ability to obtain active Maine RN licensure in a timely fashion.
• Must possess excellent teamwork, communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care.
• Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel.
