Night Shift Material Handler & Sanitation Technician

Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring for a Third Shift Material Handler/Sanitation. The role runs 10:00pm-6:00am, Sunday-Thursday, with overtime as needed. Pay is $20.35 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential.

Duties include sanitation and custodial tasks within a warehouse, plus material handling responsibilities including operation of powered equipment. The ideal candidate will have at least six months of warehouse and forklift experience, along with a focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Six months warehouse experience preferred.
• Six months forklift operation experience preferred.
• Experience in order fulfillment, packing, shipping and receiving is desirable.
• Experience with RF scanners and pallet jacks is a plus.
• Ability to stand for up to 90% of the shift and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack and count product.
• Check inbound and outbound products for damage, accuracy and codes.
• Load products onto equipment, pallets or totes.
• Put-away and pick products for shipment or stock per customer orders.
• Ensure accuracy of quantity, quality, labeling and addresses on shipments.
• Inspect equipment daily and perform basic maintenance tasks.
