Job summary

Atkore. Eugene, OR location is seeking a Material Handler to package pipe and perform quality checks. The role reports to the Shift Lead and focuses on safe, efficient production. Work the D Shift—Wednesday to Friday and every other Saturday, 6 PM to 6 AM—with forklift and packaging tool responsibilities.

You’ll lift up to 70 pounds, follow safety rules, and maintain accuracy in counts and calculations while supporting extrusion and regrind processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Good understanding of basic math for counting and calculations.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, time management and organization.
• Shows initiative and adaptability to changes in work environment.
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds and work safely in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficient with material handling devices (forklifts, pallet jacks, banders, nail guns).

Responsibilities

• Package finished pipe in proper crate quantities and perform quality checks.
• Support extrusion schedule and coordinate with shift lead.
• Weigh and transport finished product; cut crate boards to length.
• Process regrind and perform maintenance/cleanup for production and storage areas.
• Follow PPE rules and safety procedures; operate forklifts and packaging tools.
