Job summary

Aapstaff is seeking a Material Handler for the 3rd shift (10:00 PM–6:30 AM) in Bartlett, IL. The role supports production by preparing and distributing raw materials, coordinating with the previous shift, and transporting resin and inserts to molding machines.

You will record lot numbers, supply packaging materials, move finished goods pallets, clean dryers and filters, and follow safety procedures to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling and warehouse safety.

Responsibilities

• Follow the daily production schedule to prepare and distribute raw materials.
• Communicate with the previous shift's material handlers regarding outstanding issues.
• Transport resin and inserts from the material issue area to designated injection molding machines.
• Record resin and insert lot numbers on the required documentation.
• Supply packaging materials to assigned production presses.
• Move finished goods pallets from work centers to designated staging areas.
• Clean dryers and filters using a vacuum as needed.
• Set dryer temperatures according to job requirements and material specifications.
• Segregate waste before disposing of materials in the appropriate recycling dumpster or compactor.
• Maintain organized material storage areas and support uninterrupted production.
• Follow all company safety procedures and material handling instructions.
