Job summary

Federal Express Corporation in Memphis is seeking a dock worker to operate equipment safely and efficiently for moving packages, documents and heavyweight freight. You will assist in building and breaking down pallets and act as liaison with the ULD repair vendor as required.

Qualified applicants must be able to lift 50 lbs, work in all weather conditions, and pass a drug screen. Shifts include 10:00 PM–06:00 AM or 8:00 AM–4:00 PM EST with a valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Walk, stand, bend, and squat for designated hours.
• Ability to maneuver packages above shoulder level and in enclosed spaces.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient operation of equipment for moving packages, documents, heavyweight freight, and ULDs.
• Assist in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serve as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
