Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring for a production associate in Jasper, TN. The role involves operating a grinder, feeding scrap material, and ensuring color consistency and safe operation. We offer day-one benefits and a 6am–8am interview window on select days.

No prior experience is required, though manufacturing experience is preferred. The job requires lifting up to 86 pounds and ability to work in a loud, dusty plant environment in Jasper, Tennessee.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and perform basic math skills as job duties require
• Education: High school diploma or GED (minimum)
• No experience required; manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Set up grinder workstation at shift start and clean/maintain grinder
• Feed scrap materials manually and monitor grinder operations
• Ensure scrap racks and flowbins are properly stacked and logged
• Maintain color consistency of grinding runs and proper weight of gaylords
• Assist with safety checks on flow bins, racks, and forklift inspections
• Report daily regrind to maintain inventory accuracy
• Assist with maintenance of grinders and daily housekeeping
