Job summary

Dal-Tile in the United States is seeking a Warehouse Associate (Forklift Operator) for the 3rd shift (M-F, 7:00pm-3:30am). Responsibilities include operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts, picking, receiving, putaway, SPC packing, and general warehouse duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year distribution/warehouse experience.
• Minimum six months to 1 year of sit-down forklift, reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Good record keeping; ability to listen.
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
• Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy.
• Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas.
• Operates to receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking; opens crates and inspects product; applies labels.
• Verifies shading of product and places into accurate warehouse location; putaway into designated areas.
• Wraps and packs products by hand into boxes for shipping; labels boxes with packing slip; loads onto conveyor belt; verifies orders for accuracy.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor; follows SOPs; keeps area safe and organized.
