Job summary

Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is seeking a Material Handler for the night shift in Kings Mountain, NC. The role requires operating forklifts and related equipment to move, stage, load, and unload materials, ensuring accurate flow for manufacturing.

The position includes data entry in Oracle/WMS and strict adherence to safety and quality standards. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and forklift experience.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience required.
• Prior experience with inventory systems is beneficial.
• Ability to follow safety and quality procedures precisely.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, lifting aids, and overhead hoists to move materials safely.
• Validate part quantities and material accuracy; report discrepancies.
• Support changeovers and prepare materials in advance for manufacturing.
• Use FCS, Oracle, and WMS systems to maintain inventory data.
• Maintain 100% transactional accuracy and complete safety audits.
• Follow safety, quality, and ISO procedures; conduct housekeeping and 5S.
• Provide cross-training and cover peer absences; overtime as needed.
