Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Material Handler to ensure the smooth flow of raw and fabricated materials through the department. You will issue materials from stock, assemble daily release kits, and deliver finished parts to designated areas with proper pallet IDs.

You will also operate a 5,000 lb forklift, manage SAP transactions for stock movements, and handle scrap disposal while maintaining safe, organized storage and yard areas. Local candidates in the LaGrange, NC area preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• U.S. export-control compliance required (U.S. person).
• No relocation benefit offered; local candidates only.

Responsibilities

• Move pallets and materials from stock to production and kits per daily release.
• Prepare kits for transport and generate packing lists.
• Deliver finished parts to welding, kitting, and interplant docks; tag pallets with IDs.
• Operate a 5,000 lb forklift to unload bar stock and sheet steel.
• Receive and locate daily release parts; ensure SAP transactions are accurate.
• Dispose of scrap steel/wood; coordinate with scrap vendors.
