Job summary

Marvin in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Material Handler to support production by maintaining warehouse accuracy and timely parts requests on the 3rd shift. You will read orders, move parts to the line with a forklift, and use power tools and scanners while following safety standards.

The role requires high school diploma, forklift certification, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and handle up to 150 pounds in team lifting scenarios. Overtime may be required during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification required.
• Computer classes or production experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Read, sort and process complete orders.
• Issue parts to the lines and operate a forklift to move and deliver parts to the line.
• Operate power hand tools, scanners, computers, and related equipment.
• Assist with warehouse inventory maintenance and loading/unloading trucks.
• Notify supervisor of mechanical or material issues and attach labels/tags.
