Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Material Handler for a Cullman, AL-based role. You will operate cranes, forklifts, and fabrication equipment to move materials safely and efficiently in line with site goals.

The position offers a night shift schedule (Sunday 11pm-7am, Monday-Thursday 9pm-7am) with a pay rate of $18+ based on experience. It is a temp-perm opportunity with comprehensive benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient communication and organizational skills.
• Highly motivated and able to work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Move materials to and from storage or production areas using hand, forklift or cranes.
• Sort materials before loading and unloading.
• Attach identifying tags to materials.
• Read work orders to determine material or equipment needs.
• Stack materials in storage locations.
• Record quantities moved on production sheets or tickets.
• Install protective devices to prevent shifting or damage.
• Guide loads being lifted to prevent swinging.
• Carry tools and supplies to and from storage or trucks.
• Perform general yard duties.
