Job summary

BlueScope Coated Products in Middletown, OH is hiring a Material Handler to safely stage materials for production at the paint line and prepare materials for packaging of finished coils.

You will identify coils with tickets, move them to storage, and work with Maintenance, Operations and Quality Control to meet production goals. Forklift and overhead crane operation are required, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Overhead crane experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials for packaging and shipping of finished coils.
• Package finished coils safely and move to storage.
• Verify identification tickets and ensure no damage before storage.
• Quarantine non-conforming material and notify Quality Control.
• Follow Quality and Environmental Management System principles.
• Communicate daily with Maintenance, Operations and Quality Control.
